~ POWER ANIMAL ~ © Spectrum / Utopia Spiritual Centre Sit comfortably in your favourite chair, breathe in and out slowly and deeply. Relax your body, allow your mind to clear and forget about all your worries. Now symbolically stand and walk to the door, open it and walk through, close the door behind you, turn around and walk down a pretty country lane. To your left there is open countryside with rolling hills and meadows, there is a stile over the fence leading into a meadow full of wild flowers. Climb over the stile into the meadow and stand on the soft fragrant grass. You can see a woodland ahead and there is a pathway leading into it. Walk along the path towards the woodland and into the canopy of trees. Just ahead of you the sun is shining down through a small opening in the treetops, there is a little clearing illuminated by a beautiful gleaming white sunbeam. Walk through the sunbeam into the clearing, the light is beautiful and calming. In the centre of the clearing is a fallen tree trunk which you sit on to rest. You can sense many creatures around you but you are unable to see any. Sit quietly and listen to the gentle sounds of nature within the woodland. You become aware of an animal approaching you, but you are calm and unafraid, instinctively you know that you are in no danger and are perfectly safe. This is your Power Animal, your main animal guide. It can be any type of creature and it is the most magnificent specimen of it`s species you ever saw or imagined. Your animal comes close and stands or sits beside you and allows you to touch itself, you look into its eyes and it begins to communicate telepathically with you. This is your time to enjoy the company and get to know your very special friend. Your animal may tell you it`s name and answers your questions with incredible insight. After a while it is time to return from your wonderful adventure in the woodland. You stand and say goodbye to your beautiful and faithful companion with a hug. It walks you back through the woodland and gives you a gift to bring back with you. Now walk along the path, climb over the stile and walk back down the country lane. You reach the door, open it and enter then return to your chair and sit back down on it. Continue to breathe deeply and slowly and come back from your journey bit by bit, allow your body and mind to gently reawaken, when you are ready slowly open your eyes. |
