~ OPENING & CLOSING CHAKRAS ~

This is an easy routine for opening Chakras in readines to connect to, communicate and work with spirit-
and close down afterwards, which we use in class.

Firstly you need to be relaxed, calm and breathing steadily.
Close your eyes and relax, breathe in through your nose as far as you can go,
taking in positive energy as you do so- then hold the breath as you count to three.
Now breathe out through your mouth as far as possible, send out any negative energy with your breath and hold for the count of three.
Repeat these breaths twice more, clearing your mind and releasing all negativity,
if it helps imagine placing all your worries and problems into a basket, tie it to a balloon and allow it to float away.

Next you need to perform grounding and protection routines.
Once you are grounded and protected you may proceed to open your Chakras.

Imagine a beautiful big ball of energy below your feet, coming up from the earth and meeting your roots.
The energy travels upwards, through your feet and up your legs where it meets with your Base/Root Chakra at the base of your spine.
As the energy and Chakra meet the Chakra bursts into life, it may be like a wheel or in the form of a pretty flower bud and will be red in colour.
The energy causes the wheel to spin faster and faster and explode into a bright red energy centre,
or the flower bud to open and reveal a beautiful bright red flower.

The energy moves up to your Sacral Chakra just below the navel.
The Chakra wheel spins faster and brighter or the flower bud opens as before to reveal a beautiful bright orange energy centre.

Moving up to the Solar Plexus just above the navel.
The Chakra wheel spins faster and brighter or the flower bud opens into a beautful bright yellow energy centre.

We now move up to the Heart Chakra,
as before the Chakra wheel spins faster and brighter or the flower bud opens to reveal a beautiful bright green energy centre.

And so on to the Throat Chakra,
where the energy spins the Chakra faster and brighter or the pretty flower bud opens to reveal a bright blue energy centre.

We now move up to the Brow Chakra (third eye)...
the Chakra wheel spins faster and brighter or the flower bud opens to reveal a beautiful Indigo coloured energy centre
or may present itself to you as a magnificent all seeing psychic eye.

Next the energy moves up to your Crown Chakra on the top of your head.
The Chakra spins faster and brighter or the flower bud opens to reveal an energy centre which is purest white, violet, or mixture of both.

Your Chakras are now all open and beautifully lined up ready to work.
When finished simply perform the same routine in reverse to close them down again.
Take your time and don`t rush, eventually you will find it easier and easier and will be able to open and close your Chakras in a fraction of the time.
