~ ANGEL CARDS ~ ©  Utopia Spiritual Centre Angel cards are a wonderful way to work with guides and angels. There are no negative cards and all messages from them are positive and uplifting. You need not be afraid to use them- they are simple to use, perfectly safe, and surprisingly accurate! There are many decks of angel cards available on the market today. For best results choose the deck/s that stand out to you the most, your guide/s and intuition will help you decide which ones you are most likely to be more in-tuned with. You can read angel cards for people in person (one to one) or by telephone/internet/email (remote). For one to one readings, ask the person you are reading for to choose which deck they wish to have a reading from (if you have more than one deck). Ask them to shuffle the cards and ask their guides/angels to help them select the cards for the reading, or to provide a message with the cards. Some people however prefer not to allow others to handle their cards. If this is the case shuffle your cards then ask your guides/angels to work with those of your client, to help you choose their cards from the deck. (The same applies for remote readings, when your client is not able to shuffle the cards for you.) Be vigilant as the cards are shuffled and selected, if any card/s fall out of the deck or appear to stand out, take this as a sign the card/s should be selected as part of the reading. The number of cards depends on which spread you are going to do. You can learn and practise the more in-depth spreads when you are more experienced with your cards. There should be a booklet with your deck to explain the spreads, but there is nothing wrong in divising your own methods if you wish to. However for the purpose of this exercise we will work on the principles of a basic three card reading. Once you have selected the three cards, turn them over and read one at a time, starting with the first card chosen, then the second and finally the third. You can use the first card as a "Past" reading, the second as a "Present" reading and the third as a "Future" reading, or use all three as a message from the guides/angels relating to the current situation and immediate advice. I personally prefer the second option. You can either read the card meanings from the booklet (at least until you are more familiar with the cards) or you can study the card image and decide what it means to you, then use this as the basis for your reading. (Again I prefer the second option). Tell your client what you are picking up from the cards, your guides/angels should help you provide advice and information relating to your client and his/her reading. Say what you are given as you receive it. It doesn`t have to make sense to you but your client should understand what is being said. If they can`t take it then ask them to keep it in mind, it could be something to come or something they will remember later.
