~ AUTOMATIC / GUIDED WRITING ~ © Utopia Spiritual Centre There are two popular methods of Automatic or Guided Writing. Pen or pencil and paper or pad Pen or pencil, Automatic Writing Planchette and paper or pad Decide which method you wish to use and collect the equipment you will need. Place the paper or pad on a flat surface, a table is ideal- especially if using the planchette method. Hold the pen over the paper/pad in your normal way, or prepare the planchette and place it on the paper/pad with your fingers lightly touching it. Use both hands as this helps the energy flow and keeps the planchette steady and less likely to tip over. Close your eyes and relax, allow all the stresses and worries of the day to clear from your mind. When you feel ready ask your guide/s to come forward and use your hand/s to write with the pen/pencil. You can ask questions and invite written answers, ask his/her/their name/s, ask for a message or ask if there is anything he/she/they wish/es to write for you. Allow the pen/pencil to move freely without trying to conciously control it. When you feel it is done then open your eyes and take a look, you may be amazed at what you see. Don`t worry if there is nothing on the paper or you can`t make sense of it, as with all methods of spirit communication it takes time to perfect. Remember your communicator may never have held a pen or pencil, or may not have done so for many years… plus he/she/they have to learn how to do so using your hands! Keep practising and it will happen when the time is right. You can also channel guided writing using a typewriter or computer keyboard. My guide has only recently started to write with me by hand and he has been in spirit almost 29 years… although this does not mean it will take you that long! (We just didn`t decide to try it until recently) But he has written two books with me on the computer! It is a good idea to try both methods, some guides (like mine) prefer using just a pen/pencil whilst others prefer to use a planchette, some don`t mind either way. Experiment and see which your guide/s seem happier with. |
